After many months of being at home during the pandemic and attempting but failing to build a workout-at-home habit again and again, I decided to try Kristen’s January challenge. I quickly learned that I didn’t need a dedicated space to work out, I didn’t need to find an hour or more a day to devote to exercise, and I would get up each morning and move my body if I knew it would be fun and fast. After just two weeks, I felt more energetic during the day and slept better at night. Most importantly, I feel more present to every aspect of my life. When the challenge was over, I signed up for the DIY program — and I’m really excited to keep working out at home! Who knew?!
My first Challenge (Summer 2020) proved that I could make time for workouts, and that I could actually enjoy working out. The DIY program is perfect for me. I love that Kristen plans all the workouts for us. It makes it so easy to stick to a routine because I never have to think about it. I also love the accountability from the group. So thankful that I found Kristen by chance!
I am loving your DIY workouts! I have not once gone back to a Beach Body workout since starting your Challenge all those weeks ago. I love the variety in your sessions and I love that you post the plan for the day. I would be a mess if I have to come up with a plan myself! I am working out about 5 days per week. I can tell I am stronger which is great. I’m 43 and look at my seniors working with our PTs on their chronic pain issues. I feel great that I am laying the foundation to be strong and avoid injuries in the future. Progress not perfection. So true!
I loved the Challenge format, it is so easy to follow. I loved seeing the email the night before with what to expect the next day. I am thankful for the sugar and gluten elimination and for the awareness of looking more closely at what I am eating and the ingredients. The workout accountability is key for me and helps keep me motivated. I had an increase of energy, and less bloating. It helped jumpstart me back to a regular, daily fitness routine!
I saw tons of results from the Fall Challenge – decrease bloating, I added more daily steps, I did 7 workouts per week, I lost 4.5 pounds, but I’m most excited about losing 9 inches in two weeks! I like the accountability of checking in each day, and I love Kristen’s energy and focus on form!
I started my training with Kristen with the TK90 program, which I absolutely loved! It made me feel stronger and more energetic and it really helped me get over my WFH (work from home) struggles. I have since transitioned to the DIY program, which has helped me maintain a consistent workout routine. My fitness journey has not been perfect, so I love that I can always count on Kristen to be a consistent source of positivity, encouragement and giggles 🙂
Since January 2020, I’ve completed 4 TK Challenges, The Quarantine Program and and am currently a DIY member. I can’t say enough good things about Trainer Kristen. The work-outs have a good variety of HIIT, yoga, Pilates, and strength training – sometimes with props or light weights – and are easy to mix and match. I can easily modify to fit some of the limitations for the recurring injuries I have. Kristen is encouraging, funny, and keeps it real. You feel like you are working out with a pal! I am so grateful for her constant reminder that discipline and consistency are key to our health and well-being and that it is not about perfection, it is about progress. For all she offers, her rates are a bargain. Her genuine care for her clients is clear. Highly recommend.
My name is Damian Nordmann and I am a Mindset Coach. I have been doing Kristen Hawkinson’s TK90 workouts for almost two months now. These are my favorite workouts of all time!
A few years ago I did OrangeTheory fitness and loved it, but my body and energy level just couldn’t keep up with the intensity of an hour of HIIT at a time. I also used to do yoga several times per week. A few years ago I did Beach Body’s the 21 Day Fix.
While all of these were wonderful for me at the time, I have found that I love Kristen’s workouts the best because they combine elements of yoga, light weights, pilates, stretching, core work, and a wide variety of exercises to fit your needs.
I also love her workouts because they are shorter (20-30 minutes) and they leave me feeling energized, not exhausted. Every day I feel like I have gotten EXACTLY what I needed, not too much and not too little.
Add to this that Kristen’s videos are funny, lighthearted, and fun to watch. Her instruction is precise and she makes all her exercises easy for anyone no matter the fitness level, plus gives extra instruction if you do want a greater challenge.
Kristen is fun, encouraging, and motivates me to get moving every day! I feel better and my clothes fit better after 6 months of Trainer Kristen’s workouts.
I am so happy that I started working out to Kristen’s programs. I started with the Quarantine Program, then the TK30 and I’m now doing the DIY. I LOVE IT!
I was a daily tennis player for years, but could no longer play due to a shoulder injury. Since doing these workouts with Kristen my shoulder is so much stronger and I am able to play tennis again. I’ve lost 7 pounds and I’m much more mindful of what I eat, but never feel as though I’m denying myself. My body is much more toned and I have so much more energy.
Honestly, Kristen makes the workouts so fun, she’s so knowledgeable and encouraging and I feel like I’m working out in a private class with her. Thank you so much Kristen, I can tell that you love what you do!
I feel stronger! I like that my abs are getting attention again and my arms are getting more defined between the 14-day Quarantine Program and the Spring Reset Challenge.
I love your positivity and the way you make each person feel a connection to you. You made the challenge fun and doable for all levels. I could relate to you because even though I was struggling you made comments during the workout that you were out of breath or sweating or sore too. It made me think you were right here to carry me thru the struggle to the end.

I feel so lucky to have been introduced to Kristen and her TK90 program at what was really just the perfect time. After I had my second child, I was struggling (haha to say the least) to find a way to get working out back into my day to day. Before her program, I was disappointing myself each time I promised myself to go run/workout but then couldn’t make it work. When my friend told me about Kristen and I first spoke with her, it just felt immediately like a fit. I truly feel no other program could fit more perfectly into my routine. With two kids and working full time, her program allows me to work out each morning in my living room (sometimes very early and often without even having to put on shoes). She built a program that slowly but consistently got me back into working out first 3, then 4 and now 5 days a week. I started Kristen’s TK90 Program in summer of 2019. I was never consistent with exercise and I never found something that was really fun to keep me going. NOW I sometimes even get up earlier to do my workout despite the fact that I‘m not a morning person at all! My goals were to get healthier overall, lose some weight and gain strength for ski season in Switzerland! I have gotten much stronger, I have lost more weight than I ever thought I would lose, and my skiing has been awesome this season! I feel better, healthier overall and have more energy too!
Kristen provides a great, customized workout program especially for me and my needs and motivated me from the beginning to keep going and try new things. She gives me feedback on all of my comments on the workouts and she had become part of my daily life despite the fact that we live on different continents!
What’s unique about Kristen is her positivity, her smile, and her passion. To be honest, I was not sure if online training was going to work for me, but I tried and it is so much fun and so easy to do. You don‘t need much space or time and you don’t even need to leave your flat. That makes it really easy to do your workouts every day. I really appreciate Kristen’s daily feedback and how she supports and motivates me. I just love her videos and that she also shares parts of her life with us on these videos too! She always gives suggestions for modifications and helpful tips. Also, the variety of videos is just awesome!
I think you just have to try it out and see for yourself how easy it is to move regularly. Even if it is just a short workout, it feels so good to do something and to see how you‘re doing better and how it gets easier every week. After the first workout, which contained a lot of squats, I could barely walk the next day and now I‘m doing sometimes some squats just for fun while waiting for a tram!
Kristen and I go back 5 years now – when she started training me in person in preparation for my wedding. We reconnected last year when she kicked of her website with a Challenge. I participated in the Challenge then started her online program right after!
I needed something to ramp up my workout routine and also keep me accountable. The TK90 program was exactly what I needed to start working out 6 days a week and to make it part of my routine! Kristen is great to work with in person and through her online programs. She makes each workout fun and reminds you why you’re doing it!
I completed by TK90 program and have been doing the basic DIY training for a few months now and am proud of the results. I have become much stronger and seen a couple inches fall off in the process! It’s also been impactful for my mental well-being.

In the past, I had always been able to find the time to go to the gym or make it to a class, but between work and being a mom to my 4 year old who started school this year, it was getting way too easy to make excuses! After becoming a mom, I struggled with fitting my health and fitness goals into the equation.TK90 is a no excuses plan! Kristen adapts the program based on how many days a week you want to work out and what equipment you have. (I was in Hawaii an entire month with ZERO equipment, but I still checked in!) The difference between doing a home workout and TK90 is the personalization. You have to check in with her after completing workouts, which kept me accountable. She also checks in on you! Her workouts are quick and effective. After completing TK90 I realized that despite how busy life is, self- care has to be done. Pilates with Kristen makes me feel better all over. Though, there are always those days you don’t want to do it. Kristen’s encouragement, laughter and interesting questions always draw me back in!
I started with Kristen because my body felt tight, and not in a good way. Kristen’s weekly deep stretch sessions have made my aches and pains lessen. My stiffness has decreased and my range of motion has increased. I look forward to my stretch routine, sitting in each pose so that my body can relax and become stronger.
I started working out with Kristen about 2 years ago. I have struggled with my weight for the past several years and needed desperately to lose the weight and get healthy. Kristen has been a life saver!! I came to her with a desire to continue my current vigorous cardio routine but knew that my posture and weak core were leading to a possible injury. She was able to, in just a few short weeks, increase not only my core strength but to help me gain full awareness how to approach exercises with my upper body. I constantly struggle with my weight. Yet Kristen is always positive, motivating, and tough (when she needs to be), to help me get back on track with exercise and food management. We have been working together for years; but Kristen keeps our workouts fresh by having me try new things. I never would have tried Pilates or yoga without Kristen’s guidance! Initially I started working with Kristen after my ACL recovery to increase my overall knee strength, mobility and confidence in my physical abilities due to this new development (rehabilitated ski injury). Little did I know how much my physical confidence would soar! Today Kristen challenges me to do things I once thought would be impossible for me after my injury.
Since taking Yoga from Kristen, my joints feel better, and my energy has improved. I like the way Kristen designs the yoga around me, for example when I have an issue with a certain muscle she works that into the routine, impromptu! She is very knowledgeable about her subject. I enjoy working with Kristen very much!
I have been a client for 2 years. I began working with Kristen at 73 and had experienced limited success in sticking to an exercise regimen. I have increased my strength and flexibility. Balance is significantly improved. She works on core and stamina. In addition, she concentrates on areas that are problematic for her clients. My toes were stiff and tight. By stretching and concentration we have really opened them up. It may seem like a small thing but it has greatly improved my walking comfort and stability.
I have worked with Kristen for many years and consider her both a trainer and a friend. My workouts with Kristen make me accountable so that I can’t push exercise to “later.” Kristen’s workouts are very client-specific and she is great at modifying them to “work around” limitations when needed. In addition to the physical benefits of the workouts themselves, Kristen is a born encourager. She is great about reminding me of what I have done and can do, rather than what I have not done.
When I first starting training with Kristen I wasn’t sure what goals I was trying to achieve as I tested the waters of long distance running. Through her knowledge, accountability, genuine excitement for her clients, and even her push to get me to make yoga part of my routine, I’ve gone from completing my first half marathon, to now finishing over 12 Ultra distance races. Even through an injury, we continued making progress and she adeptly adapted to my temporary limitations. With Kristen, there is no limit to your personal growth.
