I love working Kristen. She is knowledgeable, positive and encouraging. She designs the program to meet my needs but gently pushes me to move beyond my comfort zone. I have become much more confident about my abilities after working with her.
When I first starting training with Kristen I wasn’t sure what goals I was trying to achieve as I tested the waters of long distance running. Through her knowledge, accountability, genuine excitement for her clients, and even her push to get me to make yoga part of my routine, I’ve gone from completing my first half marathon, to now finishing over 12 Ultra distance races. Even through an injury, we continued making progress and she adeptly adapted to my temporary limitations. With Kristen, there is no limit to your personal growth.
I constantly struggle with my weight. Yet Kristen is always positive, motivating, and tough (when she needs to be), to help me get back on track with exercise and food management. We have been working together for years; but Kristen keeps our workouts fresh by having me try new things. I never would have tried Pilates or yoga without Kristen’s guidance! Plus, during times when I have had injuries, Kristen has helped me regain strength and flexibility. She truly is a rock star in my life!
Initially I started working with Kristen after my ACL recovery to increase my overall knee strength, mobility and confidence in my physical abilities due to this new development (rehabilitated ski injury). Little did I know how much my physical confidence would soar! Today Kristen challenges me to do things I once thought would be impossible for me after my injury.
After many months of being at home during the pandemic and attempting but failing to build a workout-at-home habit again and again, I decided to try Kristen’s January challenge. I quickly learned that I didn’t need a dedicated space to work out, I didn’t need to find an hour or more a day to devote to exercise, and I would get up each morning and move my body if I knew it would be fun and fast. After just two weeks, I felt more energetic during the day and slept better at night. Most importantly, I feel more present to every aspect of my life. When the challenge was over, I signed up for the DIY program — and I’m really excited to keep working out at home! Who knew?!

My first Challenge (Summer 2020) proved that I could make time for workouts, and that I could actually enjoy working out. The DIY program is perfect for me. I love that Kristen plans all the workouts for us. It makes it so easy to stick to a routine because I never have to think about it. I also love the accountability from the group. So thankful that I found Kristen by chance!
Kristen’s workouts are the perfect blend of cardio, strength, balance, flexibility, and stretching. This combination has helped me stay consistent because I love the variety, and I love mixing it up every week. Both seeing results and putting in the work are extra motivation to stay consistent with my nutrition. I definitely throw in some treats, but the accountability of the DIY program helps keep me on track! Most of all, I love Kristen’s energy and focus on proper form. She has such a fun and spunky personality, but she keeps it totally real- so great! I’m so thankful that I found the TK program and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to change up their workouts and find consistency.
I loved the Challenge format, it is so easy to follow. I loved seeing the email the night before with what to expect the next day. I am thankful for the sugar and gluten elimination and for the awareness of looking more closely at what I am eating and the ingredients. The workout accountability is key for me and helps keep me motivated. I had an increase of energy, and less bloating. It helped jumpstart me back to a regular, daily fitness routine!
I started with Kristen because my body felt tight, and not in a good way. Kristen’s weekly deep stretch sessions have made my aches and pains lessen. My stiffness has decreased and my range of motion has increased. I look forward to my stretch routine, sitting in each pose so that my body can relax and become stronger.
