Pressing overhead is a great exercise for building strength in your shoulders. It is very functional as it helps us develop the muscles that help us lift things over our head or get things down from a high shelf with ease. Be careful if you have neck issues or if your trapezius muscle is extremely tight. You can build up this area by starting with low weight and slowly increasing the load over time.
